Passive and Active Heat Recirculation for Enclosures and Cabinets

Heatable perforated plates made of aluminum and acid-resistant stainless steel provide full-surface heating from 0°C up to 100°C. The heating plates are operated via ballasts on low voltage and increase the operational safety. Upon request, heated perforated plates can be manufactured up to a maximum length of 60cm x 150cm, with a thickness of approximately 4-5mm. Also, several heated perforated plates can be combined with each other or can be made up as a multi-layer plate heater. In addition, Heizteufel offers fan ventilators in various circulating air performance levels for optimized heat distribution - for special, acoustic-sensitive applications, noiseless fans (~20dB fan units) are used.

The heatable metal plates are operated with 12V or 24V. The connection to 230V is made by power supply units. The heating of the heating surface takes place evenly and without hot-spot formation. The heating power depends on input voltage, target temperature and heating plate size as well as plate thickness. Heating controls as well as thermostat controls are indispensable for a wide variety of applications and individually desired target heating. Here, too, we can help with a wide range of high-quality technologies and heating packages.

The desired target temperature can be generated

• by means of a 12V/24V heating control in the version of built-in, surface-mounted and enclosure controls
• with a thermostat control, either as a fixed temperature control (for low-cost serial use) or adjustable digital control with display (for development and research processes as well as for demanding applications).
• Heating plates are often used in work, nature and environment. Passive heated perforated plates are well suited for heating room air in cabinets, drawers and appliances. Active, fan-controlled perforated plate heating is advised for larger volumes to be heated or filled spaces.
