14.8V | 40Ah | 592Wh Li-Ion Battery Tank XPRO-40 with Heater Control for Heated Diving Clothing.
The XPRO-40 delivers maximum battery performance for heated diving with a heating power plus of >75% compared to well known brand registered 12V diving batteries like from SeaYa, Santi, UwaVis, Thor, Yellow Diving or Wings & More.
The battery tank comes from German production and guarantees a diving depth of >100 meters. Its performance data meet the high requirements for heated diving. It supplies extensively worn heated diving clothing with the necessary high heating power. Modern high performance round cells of the 21700 Li-Ion technology are assembled to a power pack of 14.8V with 40Ah and safety tested according to UN38.3.
Piezo pushbutton switching
A 4-stage 160-watt heating control is incorporated into the tank head, which is cycled by stainless steel piezo pushbutton in 25% heating stages: from 100% - 75% - 50% - 25% and then again starting at 100%. The piezo pushbutton has a concave bulge and increases the tactile feel when switching.
Optionally, a second piezo pushbutton can be added with another 4-stage 160-watt heater control. The supply line and 30-bar waterproof connector comes in the case 4-pole. This allows very high heating power to be supplied to the body. However, it is also possible to fire different heating zones or heating clothing with different heat outputs, e.g. heating gloves on a high level and heating vests on a medium level.
Battery tank head
The cable outlet on the battery head is kept watertight to >10 bar with a V4A/316L stainless steel bushing. A spiralized V2A/304 stainless steel bend protector also secures the cable against bending stress. The battery head is secured with latches that allow quick, easy opening and closing. All components are of premium quality.
Connecting cables and connectors
The 2- or 4-core connection cables with deep-sea tested connectors can also be disconnected and connected under water if a second battery tank is to be connected during the dive. The connectors are additionally equipped with a screwable safety sleeve against unintentional disconnection. The Heizteufel cord connections are not compatible with Thor, WET or original E/O cords.
On request, branded cables and connectors as well as other systems known from technical diving can be ordered optionally and supplied by us assembled, e.g. Thor-Cords, WAM-Cords, Fischer for BTS systems, WET-Connect, Santi, Yellow Diving, SubConn.
Vega valve from Si-Tech
The current suit lead-through wired by Heizteufel is the Vega valve from Si-Tech. It can be connected to an existing feedthrough in just a few simple steps. The connectors are compatible with the battery tank and heater suit cables. The transition from the inner feedthrough cable to the heating garment comes with a visual signal control for the switching status of the heating control when dressing.
Upon request, we can retrofit your existing straight-through valve with 2-wire, but in many cases also with 4-wire connector cables and manifold housing, e.g. Apeks and Santi Thermovalve. You can send in your valve with your order. You will receive a ready-made feedthrough immediately or together with a goods order free of charge.
LED battery charge level indicator
8 LED bars indicate the battery charge level (0% = empty / 100% = fully charged). By tapping the switch once, the diodes light up and show the current charge level of the battery in 12.5% steps. After 15 seconds, the display switches off automatically. Note: The readability of the display is impeded under extreme lighting conditions.
Included with the battery tank is an electronically controlled, 2-stage CC-CV charger with 5,000mA charge current. Optionally available is a bargraph capacity display of the battery charge level in 12.5% capacity steps. For the demanding, tech-savvy diver, a digital adjustable charging system with display is also available as an option, which makes sense via multi-programmability as well as multi-balancer technology of different age 20Ah diver battery packs.
Also included in the standard scope of delivery of a 20Ah accumulator tank is a stainless steel cable clamp, for example, for attachment to a hose belt. When expanding to 40Ah, a second cable clamp is added. A container fastening bag with Molle system or a transport bag made of tear-resistant Codura textile is also available as an option.
Heated dry suits and heated wet suits
In our Central European latitudes, dry diving is preferred. From this point of view, the above mentioned technical design is very coherent as the most used diving equipment.
