24V XLR battery connection for Permobil wheelchairs to Heizteufel heating products

With an XLR adapter cable, the 24V wheelchair battery can be used the necessary power supply for heating clothing, gloves, slip bags, as well as their 24V heating controls for the attachment, installation and housing type. For this purpose, the adapter cable with the XLR connector is plugged into the charging socket of a Permobil(TM) wheelchair, e.g. for the C500 model.

For other makes and other models of 24V wheelchairs, the polarity of the pins in the XLR connector must be checked in advance. The XLR connector pinout, as seen from the mating side, is as follows in the standard:

Pin 1 Plus Volt (+V)
Pin 2 Ground (-V)
Pin 3 not connected

If a different pinout is found, do not use the standard XLR adapter to avoid errors and damage to the equipment. If you are not sure how to measure the pinout, we offer you a test device on loan with which you can easily check the pinout.
