The 80 watt built-in heater control for dashboards, panels and trim included in the heater package is ideal for setting an individual heat output for 12V battery-powered and vehicle-powered heated gloves, foot warmers, kidney belt and seat heaters. Active heat delivery is continuously adjustable and provides excellent heating even in extremely cold conditions. The waterproof heater control switches on from 13.0V (battery protection) and off automatically from 12.6V (deep discharge protection), it can be quickly accommodated in a small space and easily attached using double-sided adhesive tape, Velcro or cable ties. For the potentiometer, which is used to adjust the heating power, an axis feed-through of 6mm is required. The plug connections to the on-board power supply and the connecting cables are waterproof, additional safety electronics such as reverse polarity and overvoltage protection give the control value and durability.
