With this Dual Heat heating system, the heating value of the heated gloves is technically doubled, but it is much more than that. The "Dual Heat Rider" is equipped with an integrated 3-stage, illuminated push-button heat control. The heating power of the comfortable DH Rider depends on the optional battery heating package and is switchable from
- 7.5W to 15W with the dedicated small and lightweight 7.4V battery pack Medi, which provides good warmth and dry hands in wet cold around 0°C. This type of battery is popular with people with narrow forearms and small hands up to size 8/M.
- 15W to 30W with the larger 11.1V battery packs designed for this purpose and weighing up to 160gr., which provide good warmth especially in very cold temperatures down to -30°C or for a longer heating time of up to 4 1/2 hours.
The large button is easy to press with the hand or a finger and provides a defined switching state, i.e. unintentional switching on, switching over or off is virtually impossible. Each press of the button switches the battery pack to the next lower heating level. The colors red, blue, green indicate the heating power 100%, 75% and 50%. The battery packs and heating levels are designed in such a way that 100% heating power of the 7.4V Medi battery pack equals 50% heating power of the 11.1V Pro battery pack of heating level 3. The transition of the heat outputs between the battery pack models is therefore very well coordinated and thus provides frequent users with a practical indication of when to calculate with a larger battery pack from a medical, work or application-related point of view. The battery pocket is integrated on the inside, which additionally protects the battery against cold and moisture. Who would like to carry the larger accumulators nevertheless not gladly in the gauntlets, in order to receive the greatest possible and unrestricted arm and hand movement liberty, can carry by means of connecting cable the accumulator packs also in the jacket or breast pocket, in addition also very beautiful belt bags are offered from the house Heizteufel. The good wearing and touch feeling is supported by particularly soft material and an ergonomic fit, so that no pressure is felt on the fingers. A PorelleTM climate membrane protects against hand perspiration, which prevents the fingers and palm from cooling down. In addition, the waterproof, breathable membrane protects against wind and moisture. All these materials improve the heat efficiency and keep your hands comfortably warm and dry.
The "Dual Heat Rider" heating gloves are powered by HeizteufelTM LiPo battery packs for portability, but they can also be powered by 12 volts, e.g. when driving a car as well as a convertible, or by 24 volts as in the case of the electrically powered bicycle and wheelchair. The battery pocket is incorporated into the cuff on the inside, which provides additional protection for the battery against cold and impact.
