Double-sided heated hand sack for curved hands and finger limbs as well as for wheelchair users.
The heatable "hand slip bag" provides all-around warming of the hand, fingers and wrist without exerting pressure on sensitive hands and fingers. The heatable "hand slip bag" is made of a very valuable windproof and waterproof softshell outside and a cuddly polar fleece inside. Through an incorporated elastic band, the slip bag can be closed, so that accumulated heat can form and not escape. Due to different hand sizes and corresponding hand shapes, the slip sack is made individually - for this purpose, please tell us the dimensions of the hand, the length, the width and, if necessary, the height of the hand in case of severe hand and finger curvature. You may also have a photo or drawing with measurements of your hand. The heating technology used is very thin and highly flexible Heizteufel heating wires, which provide a very high durability and wearing safety. The hand sack is washable at 30° degrees in a laundry bag or by hand.
Heizteufel manufactures the heated hand sack with the following options:
Hand slip sack with (1) joystick finger slot and (2) fixed temperature thermostat control for people with disabilities and no temperature sensation.
If the hand can exert little or no force on the fingers, or if temperature sensation is no longer present, a permanently equal temperature output in the form of a 37°C fixed-temperature thermostat control is used. The sensor technology and electronics are perfectly integrated into the hand wrap. There is no impairment for the hand. Especially people in wheelchairs sometimes have little strength or movement possibilities with their fingers, but also a very high sensitivity to pressure. Our hand sling takes these requirements into account, and in addition, the limited movement possibilities of the fingers are additionally supported with a small control slot for joystick use.
The power supply is provided by one (3) Heizteufel battery pack or battery double pack With the adjustability through the colored lighted heating levels (100% - 75% - 50% in the lighted colors red - blue - green), the desired temperature can be adjusted very easily and in a controlled manner. Possible power supply sources are (4) a 220VAC/12VDC power supply unit, (5) a 12V car connection via on-board power supply plug (so-called cigarette lighter) and (6) to use the 24V operating voltage of the e-wheelchair via an XLR connector and 24V -> 12 DC converter. In addition, (7) a viewing window for hand movement can be ordered.
