Lightweight and comfortable to wear, the heated under hood warms from the forehead to the neck and in front of the ears to the base of the neck and chin. The bi-elastic material of the headgear is excellent to adapt to any head shape and is worn under a diver's standard headgear. The heating system is sealed and not only safe in case of water ingress, but it also allows heated wet diving.
The connection cable is about 40 cm long and comes with a typical waterproof diver cord (the WAM cord is compatible with E/O, Thor and others).
The heating power is approx. 19 W @ 12 V and thus provides good warming in cold water temperatures.
Note on the material of the headgear: Active Warm technology provides excellent thermal insulation. The excellent moisture management creates a comfortable body climate. The breathable textile dries quickly and wicks moisture away from the skin. The head hood is offered uniformly in unisex and uni size.
