Heating bag for mobile printers - work in cold storage
For mobile printing in cold storage, heating of the battery and device is necessary to ensure continuous operation at cold warehouse temperatures and thus also to significantly improve the service life of the devices used. Undercooled device batteries, condensation in the case or on the display as well as component aging under strongly fluctuating temperature differences are cost factors calculated over time. In addition, battery life suffers, resulting in shorter duty cycles and overall life of the mobile printer. Device, maintenance and work organization processes lead to cost-effective, improved and sustainable work with heated device pockets for mobile printers.
The heat pockets heat almost the entire device housing with the battery technology. Valuable insulating materials for cold protection are optimally incorporated and the outer textile is made of abrasion and water resistant materials. The heating heat is designed on an area basis without creating hot spots or cold bridges. In most cases, a powerful battery pack is connected via an external connection cable made of cold-flexible silicone jacket to generate heat. The heating power can be readjusted in 3 heating levels depending on the cold store temperature.
Heizteufel develops and produces specific heat pockets for various manufacturer models. The photo example shows a heating bag for the printer from ZEBRA, model QL220 Plus, which has been in use for over 9 years in the operations of a Berlin meat wholesaler. Even after more than 9 years of use, the appearance is in perfect technical as well as optical condition, befitting a German production with first-class processed textiles and heating techniques.
We are looking forward to your request for a technical heating solution, which can also be examined by us for producibility for other manufacturer models.
We would like to point out other heating products for commercial use and employees in cold stores, these include:
- Heated pouches for barcode scanners and PDA devices
- Heated rubber mats for the footwells of refrigerated forklift trucks, which also serve geometrically shaped dimensions
- Heated seats, backrests and armrests in refrigerated trucks
- Fully heated mats and V2A stainless steel plates
- Heatable packaging and processing tables, specially heated plates for industrial workers, heating is applied to the foot area as well as to the lower body and is a contribution as an occupational safety measure
- Heated work clothes, heated under gloves, heated socks and insoles
Optional
- Battery heating package HP-P/P-1
- Battery heating package HP-P/P-2
