Photography in tropical regions can lead to annoying moisture disturbances of a then blurred camera lens. In order to be protected against condensation on the lens during long exposures, a flexible heating mat with laminated insulation is placed around the lens and attached using Velcro tape. The heating bandage or heating sleeve manufactured by Heizteufel achieves uniform heating over the entire heating surface for camera lenses without creating hot spots or cold bridges. The lens heater is powered by a "Pro-Push" LiPo battery pack, moreover the battery is incorporated in a very good insulating EPDM material and has a 3-color illuminated push button heating control with heating levels (100% - 75% - 50%) to adjust the required heating power for the lens to its size and weight. The heating time is 6 hours (100% heating power) to 12 hours (50%). For longer photography periods, a double battery pack "Pro-Push-2" is recommended. The battery heating mat can be detached from the battery pack if necessary. Optionally available on request is a specially made battery bag as clip or velcro attachment.
