14,8V | 20Ah | 296Wh Li-Ion battery tank SLIM XPRO-20 with on-off piezo switch
The SLIM XPRO-20 delivers maximum battery power for heated diving with a heating power increase of >75% compared to known, brand-registered 12V diver batteries.
The battery tank is made in Germany and guarantees a diving depth of >100 metres. Its performance data meets the high requirements for certified diving. It supplies an extensively worn, heated diving suit with the necessary high heat output. Modern high-performance round cells of 21700 Li-Ion technology are assembled into a power pack of 14.8V with 20Ah.
Piezo button circuit
A stainless steel piezo button in the tank head switches on a maximum current load of 300 watts (~20A). The pressure point on the button must be 3~5N and thus ensures defined switching against unintentional contact.
In accordance with the high output current, submersible cords with contacts for high current loads are used.
Battery tank head
The cable outlet on the battery head is kept watertight at 10 bar with a V4A/316L stainless steel grommet. A spiralised V2A/304 stainless steel anti-kink protection also secures the cable against bending stress. The battery head is locked with latches that allow quick and easy opening and closing. O-rings protect against water ingress; it is recommended that these are checked for damage every few weeks and lubricated with rubber fluid or silicone grease to prevent drying out and ageing. All installed components are of premium quality.
Cables and connections
The 2-core connection cables, also known as cords, have a standard cable length of ~60cm from the battery tank to the cord connector. The following cables for suit feed-through, which are a Heizteufel brand product as so-called "E-Valve", have a length from the cord plug to the feed-through valve of ~20cm. Other cable lengths are available on request.
Heizteufel's deep-sea-tested plug connections can be disconnected and connected under water if a second battery tank is to be connected during the dive - the power supply must be switched off beforehand. Some of the plugs are equipped with a screwable safety catch to prevent accidental disconnection. The Heizteufel 2-pin cord connections are compatible with Thor, WET or original E/O cords.
On request, brand-specific cables and connectors as well as other systems known from technical diving can be ordered as an option and supplied ready-made by us, e.g. Thor-Cords, WAM-Cords, Fischer for BTS systems, WET-Connect, Santi, Yellow Diving, SubConn.
Optional extensions up to a complete heated system for diving
E-VALVE for APEKS and SITECH valve feedthroughs: Standard valves for dry diving suits are usually supplied by APEKS and SITECH. An intermediate ring is placed under the screwed-on air feed-through, which in the simple version only has a cable feed-through with kink protection for the power supply to the heated clothing.In the extended version, the E-VALVE is equipped with 1 or 2 RGB piezos, which are wired to a multi-channel heating control in the Trockie.
An E-VALVE can be screwed onto an existing feed-through in just a few simple steps and is very easy and safe for the diver to operate.
For divers who do not yet have a feed-through in their drysuit, we supply the SITECH vega valve with a cable inlet and cable outlet for self-installation. The suit should be prepared to accept the Vega valve. If you already have a valve bushing, you can send us your valve for a possible extension conversion with your order. You will receive a ready-made bushing immediately or free of charge together with an order for goods.
E-CONTROL DIVE HEATING CONTROL: A 2-circuit heating control is switched via the RGB piezos of the E-VALVE and provides 4 heating levels, which are switched in the sequence 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the heating power.The control unit provides an optical signal control and a vibration warning for heating level switching operations as well as a battery capacity warning if the remaining capacity is not reached. The maximum heat output per heating circuit is 150W. The control unit is pluggable with the E-VALVE piezos and with the heating garment. It is integrated in a flat ABS housing that fits perfectly in the breast pocket of the overalls.

The suit ducts for heated diving require an electrical cable connection that can be designed according to the required current load (A) and switchable heating zones. The electric valves are available in the following variants
- The Vega-Valve from SiTech is a combination valve for air and electrical cabling, which allows a 2-wire and for 2 differently switched heating circuits a 4-wire cable line in the feed-through.
- The Heizteufel E-Valve is an intermediate ring for the electrical cable feed-through of existing or already installed Apeks and SiTech valves. The screw-on intermediate ring can be used to quickly expand dry suits into a heated suit system.
E-Valves and Vega-Valves come with the following cable and plug variants on the power input side:

The scope of delivery of the battery tank includes an electronically controlled, 2-stage CC-CV charger with active PFC (very high efficiency >94% and extremely long operating time of >200,000hrs.) and 5,000mA charging current. A bar graph capacity display of the battery charge status in 12.5% capacity increments is available as an option. A digital, adjustable charging system with display is also available as an option for demanding, technical diving sports, which makes sense via multi-programmability and multi-balancer technology for different operating battery packs.
We can optionally supply the 20Ah battery tanks with a stainless steel cable clip, for example, for attachment to a hose strap and with a fastening strap. Other delivery options include a container fastening bag with a Molle system or a transport bag made of tear-resistant codura textile.
Heated dry suits and heated wet suits
Dry diving is favoured in our Central European latitudes. In this respect, the above-mentioned technical equipment is very consistent as the most commonly used diving equipment.
