Heated Underpants for Divers, Waterproof® Base Layer, Body X Model, 15V Version

The BODY X heated underpants for technical and recreational divers with 15V battery packs and battery container is specially designed for drysuit diving to compensate for heat loss underwater. Heated are 4 heating zones: Thighs, knees, upper buttocks to the kidney area. Other possible heating zones are the lower abdomen and perineum. Thus a warm and relaxed diving is made possible, comparable with an excellent warm feeling like that of an incorporated seat heating and an incorporated warming blanket, without cold bridges or hot spots. The heating technology consists of Heizteufels very thin, highly flexible heating wires, which are permanently incorporated into the completely washable underpants.

POWER STRETCH HOLLOW FIBER UNDERWEAR
To achieve high thermal insulation without increasing the weight, the BODY X is made of a hollow fiber polyesther. Inspired by the structure of the fur of a polar bear that lives in the most extreme environmental conditions. It insulates far better than a normal fiber because it is hollow and filled with air.

It's all about keeping warm and dry. The technical fabric in BODY X has excellent moisture wicking properties. It is designed to draw moisture away from the skin to the outside through capillary action, where it easily evaporates. The combination of hollow fiber insulation and the excellent moisture transport properties creates an extremely warm and comfortable underwear.

Material
The BODY X underpants are made of a highly functional fleece fabric with Power Stretch material (90% polyester, 10% elastane). It provides an excellent fit and shape retention with its elastic structure, and is also machine washable and quick drying. 

For long dives with external diver battery tanks it is recommended to switch on and off the necessary power supply with an additional diver heating control, e.g. "Dive-inLine", and to regulate the heating temperature. The switch-on level 1 of 100% is switched to 75% or 50% after a short time, and the heating time is extended accordingly. A variety of waterproof connection and wiring techniques complete the sophisticated underwear heating concept.

Heating packs and diver heating controls worn under drysuit

The heated underpants can be worn with a battery heating pack under the drysuit. From the control unit, the connection to the pants is made via Y-cables and connection cables (90cm, 120cm or 180cm). The suitable cables can be ordered under Accessories > Cables with Connectors. Furthermore, a possibly existing external 12 volt battery tank can also be connected. Here a cable adapter is needed to connect battery tanks and diving suit feedthroughs from Santi, BTS or Yellow. We are happy to carry out conversion work on cable systems.

Notes on safety and washing:

Heizteufel heating technology is durable with more than 10 years of use, highly flexible with more than 1,000,000 bends. It is tear and cut resistant as well as resistant to body welding. This means that the heating technology is also subject to highly demanding requirements, where, on the other hand, heating systems with heating yarns or heating foils can lead not only to failures in the heating areas and thus to the loss of heating, but also to short circuits and burns.

The incorporation of integrated supply lines for the connection of heatable insoles, socks and knee socks is also possible.

Cable note: The integrated output cable is on the left waistband by default. However, other output positions are possible. Discuss your requirements with our experts. 
Adapter plug note: A polarity of the connection assignment can not be guaranteed. No liability can be accepted for the technology of connected third-party systems, e.g. Santi or Yellow Diving.
Safety note: Basically, all heating products must be operated with a heating control that can be switched on and off, in order to prevent possible overheating or other dangers. In addition, a multi-stage, adjustable heating control is used to optimally set the subjectively desired heating warmth.
Note on chargers: The optional 16.8V/8A and 16.8V/10A chargers are designed exclusively for 14.8V battery packs with a capacity of 10Ah and higher. For 14.8V/5Ah battery packs, it remains with a 2A charger. Of course, 10Ah battery packs can also be charged with 2A.

Custom Design

We are happy to fulfill special requests. Be it that you would like to have special body parts heated alternatively or additionally, or that cable adapters and heating controls need to be adapted for an already existing heating systemBeware, however, that good craftsmanship takes its time and individual wishes cannot be made in the pre-Christmas period. Important note: If you are unsure about the size, you can order sample pants to try on. However, after processing with our heating technology, the shirt is excluded from exchange.

Provision of a personal clothing textile for the manufacture of a heating garment

Provisions of clothing are charged with 30,- Euro handling fee per order, because there is a significant additional expenditure of working time compared to our webshop stock, starting with the incoming goods inspection, a production-oriented material inspection and quality recording up to the production as well as the insurance and transport legal responsibility. For this purpose, the customer can mark the desired heating zones on the provided material, which will be taken into account when preparing the offer.
